Meet Soldier. A guy with a rough past like his definitely needs a strong name. Soldier was an owner surrender to the shelter, and the male family member was being abusive and locking him in a horse trailer. He is a wonderful pup! Understandably, he has some separation anxiety and can be easily frightened by men. He does warm up quickly though. Soldier loves to fly like the wind running around the yard. A fence is definitely required. He can jump as high as me when he is excited, but he has honored his foster family’s fence and not jumped it or the pen he is kept in indoors. He likes to be with his human (preferably in your lap) and please be prepared for the amount of hair you will be wearing. Soldier is estimated to be around 1.5 years old, and weighs about 40 lbs. Best guess is a Cattle dog mix.
