Xena has been with us for months now. Whats wrong with her you ask? Absolutely nothing. She is a sweet, gentle dog. She is approximately 9 months old now, and weighs just under 40 lbs. She has done well with other dogs, has been exposed to children of varying ages. She is well mannered. BUT- she is a black, bull breed mix and therefore continues to be overlooked in favor of the fluffy or non-black pups in the rescue. We hope, we KNOW, that there is a family out there ready and willing to overlook the black dog stigma that surrounds this beautiful soul, and give her the home she so rightly deserves.
